Jaime Morey is a partner at the firm. He was previously a partner at the firm Echecopar Abogados.
Jaime specialises in the areas of Commercial and Corporate, Real Estate and Intellectual Property Law.
He advises both Spanish and foreign companies on a wide variety of company takeovers, joint ventures and the structural reorganisation of corporate groups. He regularly counsels a number of multinationals operating in Spain, providing them with ongoing legal advice in a variety of areas, including corporate, commercial and contractual matters, maintaining close contact with their parent companies. He has also been responsible for setting up and developing various Spanish retail chains and franchises, particularly in the luxury brands segment.
He has acted as legal adviser on operations involving the purchase, sale, import and export of works of art and heritage items for private collectors and museums. He also has extensive experience in the areas of intellectual property, new technologies, corporate compliance and personal data protection.
In the Real Estate sector, he has been involved in purchase, sale and leasing operations, particularly relating to industrial buildings, offices and retail premises.
He acts as Company Secretary for several Spanish companies.
Degree in Law from the University of Navarra.
Postgraduate studies in Community Law at the College of Europe, Bruges.
Master’s Degree in International Business Law (London School of Economics and Political Science).
