Juan Pablo Correa joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Department in 2016. He had previously worked at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo (where he was the head of the litigation team in Barcelona) and J & A Garrigues Abogados.
Juan Pablo is a specialist in litigation (civil, commercial and criminal law), private international law, competition law and alternative dispute resolution.
Throughout his extensive professional career, Juan Pablo has been involved in a great many legal actions, defending the interests of clients from the pharmaceutical, chemical, foods, real estate and automotive sectors, among others. He also currently acts as arbitrator and mediator at renowned institutions both in Spain and internationally.
As a tenured lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Toulouse (UT1 Capitole) and lecturer in Procedural Law at the University of Barcelona, he also participates in numerous scientific symposia both in Spain and abroad and is involved in projects financed by the European Union. He is also the author of around fifty articles and doctrinal works published in Spanish, French and English, both in Europe and in Latin America, where he also gives guest lectures at the Universities of Paris-Dauphine (France), Mundiapolis (Casablanca) and Cúcuta (Colombia).
Since 2019, Juan Pablo has been appointed International Delegate of the ICAB in Tolouse.
